Welcome, and thanks for being here. These Terms explain the ground rules for using Trueface's websites, apps, courses, events, and community. They apply to trueface.org, growdisciples.org (including the GROW app and platform), discipleshipframework.com, and the Trueface Life app (hosted on Mighty Networks at truefacelife.mn.co). Our store at trueface.store has its own separate terms.
By using our sites, creating an account, registering for a course or event, giving a gift, or joining our community, you're agreeing to these Terms. Trueface is operated by Leadership Catalyst Inc. dba Trueface.
Trueface is a nonprofit ministry helping people come more fully alive by tapping into what Jesus makes possible. Leadership Catalyst Inc. dba Trueface is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization based in Dawsonville, Georgia.
Some of our sites and apps let you create an account. You're responsible for keeping your login details private and for what happens under your account. Please give us accurate information and keep it current. You must be an adult to create an account. If a program involves younger participants, we work through a parent, guardian, or church.
You agree to use our sites and community lawfully and respectfully, and not to misuse them (for example, by trying to break security, scrape data, upload harmful code, or interfere with how they work).
We offer courses in a couple of formats: some are self-paced, and some move at the pace of a facilitator or cohort.
Self-paced courses. Because you get access to the content right away, refunds are limited. If you'd like a refund, contact us within 7 days of purchase, and as long as you haven't completed more than 50% of the course, we'll refund you.
Facilitated or cohort-based courses. If you need to cancel, let us know at least 3 days before the start date and we'll issue a full refund. We can often transfer your registration to a future cohort when space allows, so reach out and we'll do our best to help.
If we cancel or reschedule a course, you'll be offered a full refund.
If you need to cancel your registration for a retreat: full refund up to 30 days out, partial refund up to 14 days, non-refundable inside 14 days.
If we cancel an event, you'll receive a full refund.
By attending an in-person gathering, you agree to treat others with the care and respect reflected in our community values (below), and to follow any health, safety, or conduct guidance we provide for the event.
Some events are hosted in partnership with other organizations. When that's the case, we'll let you know, and some of your registration information may be shared with that partner to run the event.
Trueface is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit and nonpartisan organization (EIN 86-0799625), and all donations are tax-deductible to the fullest extent of U.S. law.
Donations are non-refundable. We issue tax receipts for gifts made directly to Trueface. If you give through a Donor-Advised Fund (DAF), your receipt comes from the DAF organization rather than from us.

Our community spaces, including the Trueface Life app, are built around a set of shared values. When you take part, we ask you to honor them:
Trust. We choose to depend on God and others. In humility we are continually growing in all aspects of our lives into the purposes of God. We won't try to fix each other.
Encouragement. Encourage and build each other up. "Therefore encourage one another and build each other up, just as in fact you are doing." (1 Thessalonians 5:11) Encourage and support your fellow leaders. No one here is looking for your criticism, cynicism, advice, or judgment. (We can get those things on the rest of the internet.)
Curiosity. Ask questions and listen well.
Respect. Don't spam, promote, or troll. It's not a place to spam, promote, find a date, or bully anyone else.
Story. Please share stories of how God is drawing you deeper into relationship with himself and others.
We want these spaces to stay safe and life-giving. If someone violates these values or tries to prey on our community, we may remove their content or their access, and we won't hesitate to do so when it's needed to protect our people.
When you post or share something in our community or app, you keep ownership of what you create. By posting, you give us permission to display it within the community as part of running the platform. You're responsible for what you share, and you agree not to post anything unlawful, harmful, or that violates someone else's rights.
The materials we create, including our courses, the GROW Profile and its results, the Discipleship Framework, our teaching content, and the resources on our sites, belong to Trueface (or to our partners, where noted). Please don't copy, resell, or redistribute them except as we allow.
Some resources are a deliberate exception. We provide certain PDFs and resources specifically so churches can add their own logo and use them in their ministry. You're welcome to co-brand those materials that way. What you can't do is change Trueface's underlying content or messaging within them.
Our sites and apps rely on third-party platforms (like Mighty Networks, our payment processors, and our event and CRM tools), and we link to third-party sites. We're not responsible for the content or practices of those third parties, so please review their terms and privacy policies when you use them.
We may suspend or end your access to our sites, community, or app if you violate these Terms or our community values, or to protect our community. Where it's appropriate, we'll try to let you know.
We offer our sites, content, courses, and community as is, and we can't promise they'll always be uninterrupted or error-free. To the fullest extent allowed by law, Trueface isn't liable for indirect or incidental damages arising from your use of our sites and services. Nothing here is meant to limit any rights you have that can't be waived under applicable law.
If any part of these Terms is found unenforceable, the rest still applies. These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy and any guidelines we post, make up the agreement between you and Trueface for using our sites and services.
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we'll update the date at the top and, for significant changes, provide notice on the site. Continuing to use our sites after an update means you accept the revised Terms.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Georgia, United States.
